I’ve been a Patriots fan for 23 years. Every year, I end up with at least one or two players from New England, and that’s okay. For one, they are consistently one of the best offenses in the NFL, so they have several players who can score some points. Secondly, I try not to reach for those guys. I might take them a tad early than others, but not unless I feel that they will have a productive season. I’m a huge Tom Brady fan, but I’m not going to draft him first overall. I’ve seen a Packers fan draft Aaron Rodgers, Jordy, Randall Cobb, and about 3 other Green Bay players. It’s fine if you’re just looking to have fun, but if you’re looking to win, that’s not the way. He could have gotten most of those guys 3 rounds later than he did.
There’s nothing wrong with having a few players from a dynamic offense; just don’t go overboard and don’t reach.
