If you live a sedentary lifestyle, I will not judge you. Hell, I am guilty of ordering enough Taco Bell for 2 people and then plopping down on the couch and watching mindless TV. But when it comes to your fantasy football life, you need to stay active.

There’s no such thing as too many roster moves. Unless your league puts a limit on how many moves you can make. Most do not do this, though, so add and drop as you please. If you make more moves than Bill Belichick, that’s okay! You’re just trying to make your team better. It’s better to make more moves than are needed than to not make enough. Always look to improve. This is so important if you want to win your fantasy league. You can’t become complacent. Even if you have won every single week, and it looks like you will never lose, that mentality will get you beat. This means constantly evaluating your roster, right down to the final spot. Weigh the pros and cons of keeping a player versus adding one from the free agent list.

Keep track of other moves being made. Your moves are top priority, but don’t look past what others are doing. Knowing other rosters will help you on the waiver wire, when you try to figure out which teams will attempt to add players. Keep up with all things fantasy. Stay up to date on your fantasy news. You don’t want to be the last person in your league to know about the newest starting running back in the league. Idle hands lose championships. If you want a sure-fire way to not win your league, here it is: become complacent. It will get you beat every time.
