While it’s good to have a solid backup QB and backup TE on your bench, the rest of that bench should be nothing but WRs and RBs. These positions take up the most starting spots on your team, so it makes sense for them to take up the most bench spots, too. Plus, RBs get hurt a lot, so it’s rare to go through a whole season without at least a couple of them getting injured.

Please don’t have 3 QBs or 3 TEs on your roster unless someone else did something stupid like drop Gronk. It’s much easier to find an adequate QB or TE than RB option off the free agent list in a pinch. There are usually okay WR options on the free agent list, but WR potential is usually much higher than TE, so you’ll be doing yourself a favor by keeping more talent at wideout on your team.
